| 摘 要： | 英语中最常见的衔接手段有指称、替代、省略、连接和词汇衔接。汉语衔接手段也可大致分为这几类,但是与英语衔接手段存在着不小的差异。文章通过英汉语篇中大量的实例分析,对每种英汉衔接手段进行详细的对比研究,探讨英汉衔接手段的差异。

| Abstract: | The five most commonly adopted cohesive devices in English,which are reference,substitution,ellipsis,conjunction and lexical cohesion,also find their application in the Chinese language; nevertheless,there are still differences between the English cohesive devices and the Chinese cohesive ones. By analyzing the cohesive devices through a contrastive study of a Chinese text and its English version,the thesis aims to illustrate the differences in the use of the cohesive devices in English and Chinese. |
