| 摘 要： | 基础教育、职业教育、高等教育、成人教育四种教育类型的划分及传统“重道轻术”观念的影响，使我们更为重视任何一种教育类型的教育功能，而相对忽略职业技术教育理应包含“技术教育”的成分。职业教育内涵应界定为“职业技术教育”，在此基础上，对发展技术本科教育的功能与价值、发展取向及发展模式进行分析可知，发展技术本科教育显得尤为必要、迫切，不仅可以在一定程度上弥补技术教育发展的欠缺，同样可以实现教育的协调均衡发展。
