| Abstract: | Ye Shengtao, a celebrated writer in Chinese modern literature, is one of the founders in Literature Research Society. His literature concepts are typical during the period of "May Fourth Movement". From different angles of viewpoints, this essay investigates Ye Shengtao's literature concepts during the period of "May Fourth Movement" and holds that his literature view is the utilitarian and manifestation, and that he focused on the aesthetic features of literature. |
