| 摘 要： | 翻译是两种文化的交流，英汉互译中文化意象的错位与遗失的现象比比皆是，究其缘由，只能归咎于文化的多样性。为了更有效地减少文化意象的错位与遗失，译者应尽可能地使译文释义性相似作者的信息意图和交际意图，与译文读者的审美期盼相吻合。只有这样，译者才能真正肩负起传达原语文化的神圣使命。

| Abstract: | Modem allusions in newspaper English mainly refer to the allusions in various fields starting from the 20th century. This paper first introduces the definitions of the allusion. It aims to classify, trace, and analyze rich cultural connotation of contemporary allusions in English newspapers and periodicals from the perspective of politics, science and technology, economy and rich cultural life etc., hoping to promote the cross-cultural communication. |
