| 摘 要： | 中等城市将是江苏省21世纪上半叶数量增长甚为突出的一种类型。本文基于对我国城市发展方针和江苏省城镇体系规划的评析，提出发展中等城市应是推进全省城市化进程的重点之一；同时，结合人类社会经济发展的时代特征，提出了中等城市的专业型、特色型、开放型和区域性创新发展方向。

| Abstract: | Medium- sized city will be a striking type of increase in quantity in Jiangsu province utill mid - 21th century. Basing on analysis of city' s development policy in China and city - town system planning in Jiangsu province, the paper advances a view that developing medium - sized city is one of promoting urbanization in the whole province. At the same time, in the light of characteristics of the day of society and economy development, it points out the way of medium - sized city development, including special, characteristic, open and regional innovation. |
