| 摘 要： | 学术界常将汤显祖与莎士比亚作比较研究，但由于汤显祖写的是配乐演唱的戏曲，而莎士比亚写的是纯为对白的话剧，两人的作品不属于同一种艺术样式，因此两的比较似仍欠全面妥贴，笔认为将中国戏曲与西方歌剧这两种配乐演唱的舞台剧作比较则更为恰当，故拟将两部歌颂爱情的名作：汤显祖的《牡丹亭》与格鲁克的《奥菲欧与尤丽狄茜》作一番比较研究，从作品产生的时代及主题思想，戏剧情节，艺术成就及对后世的影响等三方面作出比较分析，进而指出中国戏曲与西方歌剧的共通之处与不同特点，藉此为中西化的比较研究提供了一个视角。

| Abstract: | Comparative studies are often made of Tang Xianzhu and Shakespeare in academic circles. However, this kind of comparison may not be extensive or appropriate because their works fall into different art forms: Tang Xianzhu wrote traditional Chinese operas in which words are sung to music while Shakespeare produced stage dramas which are imbued with dialogues. The author argues that it is more appropriate to compare traditional Chinese operas with Western operas. In order to support the argument, two romantic masterpieces, Tang Xianzhu's Peony Kiosk and Gluck's Orpheus ed Euridice are compared and analyzed in terms of the following three categories: the production epochs & their themes; their plots & achievements; their influence on the later generations. Then the paper points out the similarities and dissimilarities between traditional Chinese operas and Western operas, thus providing a perspective for comparative studies of Chinese and Western cultures. |
