| 摘 要： | 科研进入大学最早始于19世纪初的德国，但大学科研得到最成功的发展却是在美国。从19世纪后期至20世纪，科研活动在美国大学中迅速发展，最终成为大学(研究性大学)最主要的职能之一，并使大学成为国家知识创新体系中的重要角色。在美国大学科研的发展历程中，大学加强自身科研能力的自觉意识，大学科研目标与国家发展战略的一致性，大学与企业之间的密切合作，大学领导者的创新精神，都是颇值得借鉴的。
