摘    要:教育依凭符号,这不仅因为教育的媒介是符号,而且因为无论是教育者还是被教育者都是符号;所以符号的本质决定了教育的本质,符号的观念性和解释性,决定了教育本质上是自由的、对话的和创造的;教育即人的符号化,人的思维的符号化和行为的符号化,使人成为一个头脑聪慧、举止文明、做事妥当的人.

Abstract:Education depends on symbols: this is not only because the medium of education is symbol, but because both educators and those being educated are symbols too. So the nature of symbol decides the nature of education, and the conception and explanation of symbol de- cide the nature of education is free, dialogic and creative. Education is the symbolization of human being, human' s thinking and behaviour, which makes people smart,civilized and reliable.
