| Abstract: | The process of English teaching and learning is an overall system dealing with multi-dimension, multi-coherence and multi-factors. It is a systimatic project to improve the English teaching and implement the reform as a whole. In the light of the English teaching practice in middle schools, this thesis tries to probe into the basic principles and strategies of language teaching, which have effectively optimized the English teaching and have developed the abilities to use the language and to promote cross-cultural communications. |
