| Abstract: | In education, we should lay emphasis on the development of students' mental ability, and in foreign language teaching, this ability is even more important. Retelling is one of the most effective methods of enabling students to think in various ways, to train their qualities of thinking and to develop their mental ability. It stimulates the simultaneous development of the students' language competence and ability. |
