| 摘 要： | 目的:厘清和月亮语义关联的词汇之间的关系,包括其词源及其在英语中使用的状况和文化蕴涵。方法:把相关的问题置于印欧语文学研究方法框架内进行,特别是其词源的语音演化过程。结论:相关词汇中,有些为印欧语词源,有些则否;有些在英语中可用于构词,有些则否。意义:是为印欧语文学研究方面的一次有益尝试,对相关问题的系统性研究尚未见于学界,当裨益于有关理论研究和英语词汇教学实践。

| Abstract: | Objective:To clarify the relations among the English words semantically associated with moon,including their etymologies,cultural implications and usages.Method:Adopting Indo-European philological study to investigate the related etymological issues,especially in sound change.Conclusion:Some related words are of Indo-European origin while others are otherwise derived;some related words function in word-formation while others do not.Significance:A systematic study of semantically related words concerning moon within the framework of Indo-European philology is new research,beneficial for both theoretical study and English lexical teaching practice. |
