| 摘 要： | 委婉语是曲折婉转地表达说话者思想的特殊语言表达方式,存在于任何社会语言中。为了避免言语交际中的粗俗、冒昧等现象,人们常常使用委婉语来避免伤害对方的情感,这体现了社会精神文明的进步,百姓文化素质的提高。但是,从语用学的角度来看,社会生活中涌现的一部分委婉语违反了交际“合作原则”中“量的准则”和“方式准则”,阻碍了交际的进行。此外,委婉语体现了特定的文化观和价值观,只有了解了该语言背后隐藏的社会文化习俗和价值观念,人们才能自如地应用委婉语,从而完成交际活动。

| Abstract: | Euphemism is a word or phrase that replaces a taboo word or serves to avoid frightening or unpleasant subjects. With the rapid development of society,people tend to symbolize their refined language and civilian behavior with euphemism. However,according to the maxim of quantity and the maxim of manner in co-operative principle,some euphemisms are so lengthy and obscure that they cannot play a part in facilitating communication any more. In addition,unaware of its characteristics in culture and value,people are liable to fail in communication. |
