| Abstract: | Metaphor is a kind of human cognition,and also the cognitive tool to recognize abstract things.To combine conceptual metaphor theory and English vocabulary teaching together,pay more attention to the study of basic vocabulary,introduces to study metaphor cultural connotation,understand polysemous words,which can make up the deficiency in traditional vocabulary teaching,improve students’ subjective initiative,to promote the depth of vocabulary learning. |
