| 摘 要： | 以韩江上游梅潭河流域的大埔县百侯墟为中心,探讨粤东北客家地区的墟市、商人与地域社会发展的关系。认为墟市的兴起与地理因素有关,而发展和繁荣则缘于区域间的经济分工和地方人文兴盛。墟市贸易的繁荣,商人对乡村社会的回报,不仅给当地社会带来巨大的经济利益,而且为当地文教的兴盛和社会建构奠定了坚实的经济基础,对梅潭河流域地域社会的发展和变迁产生了深远影响。

| Abstract: | This paper discussed the relationship between market, merchants and regional social development in Hakka region in northeast Guangdong, taking Beihou market as a center in Dapu county by Meitan river basin up stream of Han river. It belived the rise of market was because of geographic factors, and development and prosperi ty, and on the other hand, due to regional economic division of labor and local cultural prosperity. It brought huge economic benefits to local society, laid a solid economic foundation for the rise of the local culture and education , and made a profound impact on regional social construction development and change in Meitan river, on account of the market prosperity of trade and the merchant to rural society returns. |
