| 摘 要： | 甲午中日战争后,袁世凯对北洋新军进行了一系列的现代化军制改革,使之成为导致辛亥革命失败的强大军事力量。然而北洋新军的现代性终究改变不了其反动性,它最终未能避免全军覆没的命运。这对于以长远眼光来研究当今国际政治经济形势的人们不能不有所启发。

| Abstract: | After the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895,Yuan Shikai carried out a series of reforms in New Army of Bei Yang, making it become formidable military strength during the course of beating the Revolution of 1911 , however, its modernity can not change its reactionary qualities ,leading its last defeated fate unreversely. This kind of struggling between modernity and reactionary quality is still being considered most important to the people who are studying contemporary situations of international politics and economy in the long run. |
