霍姆斯比较教育问题解决法述评

摘    要:霍姆斯是比较教育领域的著名学者,他的突出贡献在于建立了一套较为完整的以问题解决法为核心的比较教育方法论体系。在构建该方法论过程中,他承袭了波普尔、杜威的哲学思想,并将其应用于比较教育研究中,这在一定程度上促进了比较教育学科的发展。文章简析了霍姆斯的"四模式"和"五步骤"的主要思路和理论核心,并在此基础上进行三点思考:"四模式"利于研究者明析教育制度中各部分之间的关系;"五步法"的提出虽给比较教育学科带来了身份危机,但推动了该学科的进一步发展;问题解决法强调对假说证伪而非为政策辩护,揭示了比较教育的根本任务在于政策批评。

Abstract:Holmes a well- known scholar in the field of comparative education.His outstanding contribution lies in that he has estab- lished an integrated methodology system of comparative education, which taking problem - solving approach as the core. Holmes has inherited Popper' s and Dewey's philosophical ideas and applied these to comparative education research, so he has promoted the discipline development of comparative education. This study analyses the main idea and theoretical cores of Four Patterns and Five Steps in Holmes' system,and then carries out some discussion about them.
