Abstract:The spirit of science, which is personified makings and moral quality, has been formed through the long history of scientific activities. The spirit of science is the essence and motive force for people to research and master the scientific knowledge, scientific mode of thinking and method. The paper discusses the issue of how to develop the spirit of science in teaching physics in light of the connotation of scientific spirit, and through the analysis of the limitation of the traditional way of teaching.
