| Abstract: | Liang Qichao was not only the advocate of the “New Historiography” of modern China, but also the advocate and practitioner of history education reform. This article probes into Liang’s thought about history education reform on the basis of four different aspects: perspectives of the purpose and content of history education reform, the complication of historical textbooks and the teaching methods of history. |
