输出假设理论及其在外语教学中的应用

摘    要:Swain的语言输出理论认为,语言输出能引起学习者对语言形式的注意,能给学习者提供语言实践和反馈的机会,而且能使他们控制和内化语言知识。目前,我国外语学习者语言实际运用水平不高,我们应利用语言输出理论从以下几方面提高外语教学水平:创造语言输出的环境和机会,提高学生对学习项目的注意程度;重视反馈,帮助学生提高语言后续输入质量;增强学生的元语言意识,培养学生外语思维的习惯。

Abstract:Swain's Output Hypothesis states that language output can arouse learners' attention to the target language form, give them practice and feedback, and make them control and internalize the knowledge of the target language. To deal with the problem of our Chinese foreign language learners' poor ability in practical use of the language, the paper proposes some suggestions to improve the level of foreign language teaching on the basis of the theory of the language output hypothesis.
