| 摘 要： | 1792年，英国马戛尔尼勋爵出使中国，是两大国历史上第一次正式接触。中英文化的巨大差异，使中英双方摩擦不断。中英双方的分歧在于出访目的、礼品的定位和最后的礼仪之争三个方面。

| Abstract: | When Britain sent to China in 1792 its first ambassadorial mission headed by Sir George Macartney,it was the first official contact between the two nations in history.There were frictions between China and Britain due to cultural differences.Both sidesargued on the purpose of visit,the evaluation of gifts,and the ending protocol,which showed China's mentality in dealing with foreign relations in the middle and later periods of the Qing Dynasty. |
