| 摘 要： | In 1929, a farmer in Guanghan, Sichuan Province, discovered many exquisite jade wares when he was digging a water pit, thus unveiling the Sanxingdui civilization which had been buried underground for several thousand years. In 1986, archeologists founded two hugesacrifice pits of the Shang Dynasty （c. 1 lth century - 771 BC] and unearthed some one thousand valuable artifacts. This significant excavation astonished the whole world and was considered one of the most exciting archeological discoveries in the 20th century. Since then, a brilliant ancient civilization, a mysterious kingdom in the remote past, a fascinating art palace and a number of superbly crafted treasures have been brought to life in the modern era.
