| Abstract: | Social annotation is a Web2.0 application which is applied to annotate online web resources based on a proxy in order to represent or share annotations and their contexts. The article analyzes the development of reading mode and annotation mode, as well as some related theories, the implementation principle and the system architecture of social annotation. At last, it puts forward some problems concerned about social annotation. |
