| 摘 要： | 舟船作为一组指水上主要交通工具的词,除了在指称上有相同的对象外,彼此还有很多不同之处.“舟”先秦时期已经出现在通语中,而“船”作为方言词在战国中期才进入通语和“舟”相角逐,并最终取代“舟”的地位而活跃于人们口语中.同时,“舟”指体积小的“船”,“船”则指体积大的“船”.

| Abstract: | As a pair of transportation tools on water, zhou and chuan have the common signified, but they are different in more ways. The word zhou appeared in official language in pre-Qin period, but chuan, as a word in some dialects entered the language in the mid-Warring States period and replaced zhou and became popular in people＇s speech. At the salne time, zhou refers to the ship of small size, while chuan is a kind of ship in largersize. |
