摘    要:运用统计分析方法分析了5907名大学生的大学英语四级考试听力和阅读成绩,结果显示:阅读成绩、听力成绩和总成绩均呈高度相关,考生的阅读成绩高于听力成绩,听力得分率远低于总成绩得分率。根据分析结果,以图式理论为基础,提出了听读结合的教学模式,使视觉记忆和听觉记忆同时储存在大脑中,帮助学生解决听力困难,提高英语听力理解能力。

Abstract:This paper, by making a statistic analysis of listening and reading CET-4 scores of 5907 college students in a Science and Engineering University, points out: the total scores of CET-4 are significantly related to the scores of listening and reading comprehension and there is a positive correlation between the scores of reading comprehension and those of listening comprehension. The analysis of average scoring rate indicates that the scores of listening comprehension are much lower than those of reading comprehension and the total scores. In light of these, based on schemata theory, college English teachers are suggested to help their students to store both visual memory and auditory memory by the teaching method of combining listening and reading to improve their English listening competence.
