Abstract: | Listening, speaking, reading and writing are four basic skills in learning English, but corresponding listening training and tests are not implemented in the routine teaching of some schools, while only temporary and intensive training is made be-fore examinations. To settle this problem, the writer holds that students should have a comprehensive and objective understand-ing of English and English learning methods, while primary and secondary school teachers should often communicate with one another in order to better connect primary and secondary school English, and they should adopt various methods to settle the dif-ficulties in English listening. |
