| Abstract: | The study of readiness for school is a hot topic in American current preschool education reform. The article reveals that both 'children' and 'school' are important factors in school readiness. But different states have different policies on readiness for school. Chinese preschool education researchers and fieldworkers could learn much from American counterparts in this field. |
