| 摘 要： | 成语是约定俗成、习惯通用的特殊语言。语言和文化是紧密相连的。因此,不少成语的背后都有一个和社会生活、民族文化有关的故事。对英汉成语的正确理解和适当表达是决定跨文化交际成功与否的关键因素之一。本文选取了一些英语成语,就其字面意义和引申意义与汉语成语进行了对比和描述,以实现交际的目的。英语教学的根本目的就是为了实现跨文化交际。为了实现这个目标,需要我们正确认识到跨文化交际教学是英语教学的一个重要环节,应引起广大英语教师的重视。

| Abstract: | Idiom is a special language,which is accepted through common practice.Language and culture link closely.Each idiom has its own story about social life and national culture.Whether idioms are understood correctly and expressed appropriately is one of the keys to successful cross-cultural communication.This essay compares some English idioms with Chinese idioms in order to achieve communication.The aim of English teaching is to achieving communication.So English teachers should put emphasis on teaching of cross-cultural communication,which is a key link of English teaching. |
