| 摘 要： | 邓小平做为中国改革开放和现代化建设的总设计师,对我国图书情报事业的发展也倾注了极大的热情和心血,做出了重大贡献,主要表现在：有的放矢,对症下药,阐述了图书资料工作的重要性,对图书管理工作者提出了新要求;迎接挑战,紧抓机遇,高瞻远眠地提出了“开发信息资源”的重要指导思想;高度重视图书馆建设事业,大力支持并推动了工具书的编撰出版工作。

| Abstract: | As a general designer of China's reform and modernization, Deng Xiaoping showed great concern to the rapid development of China's library information science in the past decade. Deng's contributions to the field can be observed in three aspects: his realization of its significance and his requirements to the librarians, his guidance to "develop information resources" in China, and the importance he attached to library and reference books. |
