| 摘 要： | 先秦哲学家荀子首次对荣辱现进行了全面和系统的阐述。他认为先义后利则荣。先利后义则辱。并进一步把荣分为义荣和势荣，把辱分为义辱和势辱。君子可以是义荣而势辱，也可以是兼有义荣和势荣；小人可以是义辱而势荣，也可以是兼有义辱和势辱。君子小人之分关键在于义的荣辱。好荣恶辱是人的共性，但君子小人趋荣避辱的途径是截然不同的。荀子的荣辱观思想对于当今践行社会主义荣辱观有着重要的启示作用。
