| Abstract: | Valence shell electron pairs repulsion theory(VSEPR)is a powerful means of measuring and predicting a molecular shape,which is determined by distribution of electron domains according to it.This article discusses the VSEPR theory,its evolvement and the impacts of lone-pair electron,electronegativity and multiple bonds on a molecular shape. |
