| Abstract: | Degree awarding of the imperial examination has a character of degree\|examination. Its implementation has a positive effect on easing the resistance of change between the new and the old educational system, selecting personnel in various specialties and ensuring qualities in running universities and colleges. However, it was finally replaced by new degree system and civilian system of Mingguo period because of its connection with awarding official positions and twists of the function of higher education. |
