| Abstract: | The ideological education in university students must be improved and strengthened according to the socialist sense of honor and shame recently addressed by Hu Jintao. The sense of honor and shame and the socialist sense of honor and shame as well as "Eight honors, eight disgraces" were reviewed. University students must build up the socialist sense of honor and shame and take the "Eight honors, eight disgraces" as their essential moral compass to action. |
