| Abstract: | Deng Xiaoping's thinking of moral and ethical education in the new era: putting theory into practice and seeking truth on the basis of sheer facts;placing emphasis on the education of ideals and fostering a new generation with the "four haves";respecting knowledge and respecting human talents; insisting on the two policies and carrying out both resolutely. This is an all-encompassing system,an important component of the theories on the construction of socialism with distinctive Chinese characters. It demonstrates the unity of theory and practice,the unity of leadership and service,and the unity of freedomand discipline which is based on the spirit of truth-seeking and dialectics. It is ideological guideline for the improvement of our'moral and ethical education. |
