| Abstract: | Phonological process approach has been adopted and applied to the assessment and treatment of children with phonological disorders. This study provides a demonstration of the application of phonological process analysis to the assessment and treatment. The case study described the phonological systems of a Standard Chinese-speaking hearing- impaired child. A cognitive linguistic approach that incorporated process elimination and minimal contrast therapies was used to treat the phonological disorders. |
