| 摘 要： | 文章概述了国内外英语短语动词的研究情况，从认知语言学角度提出的对英语短语动词教学，应该走以小品词为中心的处理道路和以意象的方式给学习者呈现短语动词中小品词的多义性的方法，以及通过隐喻扩展分析短语动词语义的方法符合人类的认知规律，能够促进外语学习者对英语短语动词的习得。

| Abstract: | This paper offers a detailed study of the literature on phrasal verbs home and abroad. The particle - centered ap- proach, presenting the polysemy of a phrasal verb based on the image schema and analysis of the metaphorical extension of polysemy of a phrasal verb from the cognitive perspective could improve learners＇ acquisition of phrasal verbs. |
