| 摘 要： | 美国英语源于英国英语,但二者在词汇、读音和语法等方面都存在着很多差异。了解和掌握这些差异对英语学习者提高英语应用能力是非常重要的。高校教师应该在教学过程中让学生了解这些差异,并督促其在使用中保持一致性。

| Abstract: | American English originates from British English,but there are many differences in terms of vocabulary,pronunciation and grammar.It is very important to understand and master these differences in improving the English proficiency of English learners.University teachers should enable the students to understand the differences in the teaching process and to urge them to maintain consistency in use. |
