| 摘 要： | 哈金的英文小说获得美国文学界高度评价。他不用美国价值简单地批评中国,也不像某些华人作家那样为了迎合国外市场而任意杜撰,他的“中国人的故事”写得简洁、清晰而诚实。这是哈金的积极意义所在。但他也未能向读者提供观察中国的新视角,其作品大多数缺乏深度和回味。这主要是因为哈金属于“第一代华人新移民作家”群体,该群体既有国内同龄作家的思想局限,又有因为生活在海外而导致的精神隔膜。和现代作家以及新时期作家相比,他们普遍找不到恰当的精神基点,创作上呈现出巨大的盲目性与不确定感。

| Abstract: | Hajin's fictions in English has obtained a high valuation in American literature circle.He didn't judge China with American value,and not fabricated to meet American market as some abroad Chinese writers did,his"stories of Chinese People"are simple,clear and honest.But Hajin couldn't provide new point of view to see China for readers and his work also lacks of deepness and significance.Hajin belongs to the first generation writer of new Chinese immigration after middle of 1980s,which group not only has limitation of same age domestic writers but also has spiritual indifferent because living abroad.Comparing with modern and"New period"writers this group is usually not able to find proper spiritual start-point and theircreationsy is often blindly and uncertainly. |
