| Abstract: | This paper expounds the development process and its connotation of six-sigma management model. For the discussion we take the basic characteristics of six-sigma, the evolution of management methods and tools, the development of management science into consideration. From these points of view the article revealed that six-sigma management model is the integration and innovation of mod- ern management science and comes to be the symbol of the new stage of management science. Finally, the paper points out the value of six-sigma management to the Chinese companies, especially its great impacts on modernization of management for Chinese companies. |
