| 摘 要： | 英汉语言中亲属称谓不同，从侧面反映了东西方文化的差异。英汉亲属称谓的差异有：复杂程度差异；关系表达清楚性差异；敬称和谦称的使用差异；对长辈称呼的差异。家庭类型、血缘关系、宗法观念、文化取向、礼貌原则、等级观念是造成两者文化差异的主要原因。翻译时应注意：英汉亲属称谓词的词义不对等；对关键词进行解释；亲属称谓词的非亲属称谓用法解释。
