| 摘 要： | 北宋王朝实行重文抑武政策，十分重视学校教育的发展。武学作为官办教育的重要组成部分，曾先后于庆历、熙宁、崇宁年间三次兴办，直至靖康末年而不废。在这一时期，它逐渐建立了自己比较完善的编制体制，并逐步形成较为系统的招生、培养、管理、除官等制度，从而对北宋军事教育的发展起到了较大作用。但由于时代所限，事实上武学并未被太多重视，也没有培养出什么优秀的军事人才，从而致使其军事功能与社会作用大打折扣。
