| 摘 要： | 移位修饰语是一种常用的英语修辞格。在一定的语境下，巧妙地运用移就修辞格能够达到特异的效果。而英汉移位修饰语由于受中西方不同文化的影响，存在着一些共性与差异。本文试图探讨两种移就风格的异同，并进一步挖掘其文化源头。

| Abstract: | The transferred epithet is a rhetorical device frequently used in English. Under a certain context, the proper use of a transferred epithet can achieve special effect. There are some similarities and differences because they are influenced by different cultures. This paper tries to make an analysis of the similarities and differences, and dig out their cultural origins. |
