| Abstract: | Cognitive Linguistics is a subject in which to study the learners in their language learning from the angle of cognition. The paper expounds the effect of cognitive linguistics on English vocabulary teaching in middle schools based on the three theories of the cognitive linguistics: category theory, Gestalt theory and cognitive styles to make varieties of methods theoretically rational and systematic. |
