| 摘 要： | 美国是一个充满幽默的国家。幽默在美国人民的工作、学习、生活中无处不在，所以不了解美式幽默，就无法真正学好美语。文章介绍了美式幽默的定义和类型，并运用实例阐析美式幽默中的夸张、双关、暗指、风格错位语言等表现手法。

| Abstract: | America is a country full of humor. Since it widely applies to American work, study and lives, you can＇t have a good command of American English without having knowledge of it. This paper in- troduces the types and definition of American humor, besides, it fully illustrates techniques of expression used in American humor, such as hyperbole, pun, style dislocation and allusion; finally, it briefs on the differences between American humor and British humor. In short, it is very helpful for us to understand American humor when we learn American English. |
