英语课堂教学艺术简论

摘    要:教学是一门科学,更是一门艺术,英语课堂教学也是如此。本文主要结合英语课堂教学的特点,论述了作为一名合格的英语教师如何对这门艺术进行探索。文章主体从备课、上课、课后辅导和批改作业这不可分割的教学“四部曲”探索英语课堂教学的艺术性。备课是一个非常重要的准备环节,又包括备教学大纲、钻研教材,全面理解学生,备教学方法,设计教案等组成部分。上课这个关键环节主要从以下几个方面进行论述,包括构建和谐课堂气氛,新旧知识的衔接,发挥教师的主导作用,重表扬、多鼓励。最后的结束语呼吁英语教师要不断提高自身素质,才能使自身的课堂教学更精彩、更艺术。

Art of teaching English

Abstract:Teaching is as much an art as it is a science, so is English teaching. The essay mainly deals with how to master the genuine art of teaching English according to its subject features. The body of the essay includes preparing lessons, giving classes, tutorship after class and marking homework. These four essential parts make up the whole teaching process. In order to give interesting lessons English teachers should explore efficient ways of teaching which consists of the above four steps. As far as preparing lessons is concerned, teachers should not only design teaching schemes but also try to learn more about the students. Besides, when giving classes, teachers might as well regard themselves as organizers and conductors and make students get completely involved in the participation. In a word, only if English teachers make every effort to improve themselves by learning more can they really master the art of teaching.
