| Abstract: | The manufacture of video mini cassettes is one of the examples of successful application of the nanomaterials and nanotechnology.The fundamental principles of oblique evaporation of nanometals and the columnar structure of metal evaporated (ME) video tape are presented.In accordance with the flow chart of ME tape production the requirements of raw materials and the process technology are clarified.The characteristics of ME tapes are contrasted with the common VHS tapes.Finally,the recent development in this respect is described. |
