| Abstract: | This paper discusses the possible reasons for some common inappropriateness in oral communication by Chinese learners,and postulates strategic repair on pedagogic considerations,Covering both verbal and non-verbal actions,we probe the different expressions between Chinese and English oral communication on three layers: wording,contents and pragmatic principles,and the possible causes for both pragmalinguistic and sociopragmatic failures in a specific way. The teaching application is elucidated in the end. |
