| 摘 要： | 提出一种综合小波和分形方法的压缩方案：先对图象用小波进行多尺度分解，再确定相临尺度间的图象的自相似性，结合熵编码，实现对图象的压缩．这种方案能够有效地去除单纯用分形方法所造成的方块效应，缩短分块搜索匹配的编码时间

| Abstract: | We develop a strategy for image compression in the present paper. The image is decomposed first by wavelets, and then the similarity between two neighbour scale is exploited. At last, combined with entropy encoding, the image is compressed. This strategy can effectively removes the block effect caused in the mere fractal encoding, and shorten the encoding time in the searching and matching procedure. |
