| 摘 要： | 威廉·莫里斯在其乌托邦小说《乌有乡消息》中,表现出作为一个社会主义者的革命性,与马克思恩格斯所倡导的社会主义理论存在着某种契合。但威廉·莫里斯在构建他心目中的理想社会时,又暴露出浪漫有余而理性不足的缺点,这使《乌有乡消息》只能停留在空想的层面上。

| Abstract: | In his Utopian novel News from Nowhere,William Morris displays his revolutionary character as a socialist.To this regard,the work corresponds to Marx＇s and Engels＇ socialism.But in picturing his ideal society,Morris＇ romantic spirit is too strong and his rationality is too weak.As a result,his dream is no more than a fantasy. |
