| 摘 要： | 美国现代高等教育对经济做出重大贡献 ,其发展过程可分为现代高校创建时期、高教体系完善时期、高校改革大发展时期以及提高教育质量重视终身教育四个阶段。文章就美国高校具有多元化、国际化等特色 ,以及高等教育发展措施入手 ,对美国高校教育发展进行了深入的分析 ,总结了美国高等教育发展给我国高教事业带来的若干启示。我国可以从美国高教发展中借鉴有益的经验。
