| Abstract: | The gear shaving can correct errors in helical angle,
tooth profile and eccentricity, and it can also improve tooth surface finish. However, because there is not a transmission chain with a constant ratio between shaving cutter and work-piece, three defects exist.
In this paper, a principle and method of compensation control for gear shaving accuracy, the effectiveness and practicality of which are discussed in detail, is proposed starting from the analysis of mechanism of generating defects of gear shaving. The control insta-llatin for gear shaving accuracy based on this principle and method has gained experimentally satisfied results. |
